Problem Note 38097: List of SAS Favorites disappears in the SAS® Add-In for Microsoft Office
When a SAS Add-In for Microsoft Office favorite has a name that includes special characters such as &, <, >, or ", the list of SAS Favorites might disappear. The special characters cause a problem because the SAS Add-In converts the favorites to XML and those characters serve a specific purpose in XML.
As a workaround, remove any special characters from favorite names. The list of SAS Favorites should then open successfully.
